About Meagan Amos

Meagan Amos is a multimedia artist and photographer from Oregon. She specializes in video art, digital art, and photography.

 

From a young age, Amos was always interested in both film and photography. She began taking photographs when she was a sophomore in high school. By her junior year, she was a photographer for her school newspaper. Over her summers in high school, she would attend a theatre and film summer camp where she would write scripts, act, direct, and edit films. 

 

After high school, Amos attended Oregon State University to initially study Merchandise Management. She worked on the planning committee of Oregon State's Mom's Weekend Fashion Show and worked as a Street Style Editor for her school's fashion magazine: DamChic. At the end of her sophomore year at Oregon State, she switched her major to Digital Communications Arts with an emphasis on production and added a minor in photography after she took her first photography and Photoshop class at university.

 

Amos worked as a photographer for Oregon State's newspaper: The Barometer, interned for Hatfield Marine Science Center and started working as a freelance artist and photographer before graduating with her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2017. 

 

Meagan Amos continues to work as a freelance artist and is excited to expand her business and overall career as an artist. She loves collaborating with other creatives to make a successful final product, regardless of the medium.She values perseverance, optimism, and innovation.
